About.

Established in 1981

On Saturday mornings year-round and Wednesday evenings during the winter months, Wayne State University School of Medicine student volunteers help provide primary healthcare services alongside attending physician Dr. George Costea.

Our Goal

Cass Clinic is a student-run free clinic dedicated to fulfilling the healthcare needs of the underserved population in Detroit by providing community members with free, quality medical care and prescription medications.

Cass Clinic's Supporters

Other supporters of Cass Clinic include the members of the Detroit community who donate their time, money, and resources to support the mission and services of our free clinic.  We are supported by a variety of individuals and institutions including Wayne State School of Medicine's Alumni Fund and Dr. Robert Sherwin, our Faculty Advisor at Wayne State University School of Medicine.  We'd also like to thank Cass United Methodist Church and Cass Community Social Services for their support.

Thank you to Robert de la Torre (WSUSOM Class of 2023) for the Photos
