Services.

We strive to fulfill a range of patient needs in addition to providing community members with free, quality medical care and prescription medications.

Medical Services

Medical students provide blood pressure screenings, glucose testing, and HbA1C testing in addition to physical exams.

Medications

We have a range of both over the counter and prescription medications that are provided to patients completely free of charge after consultation with the physician.

Other Services

We provide patients with care kits, clothing items, and sanitary products.

Our Partnerships.

Currently, Cass Clinic partners with a number of other organizations run by Wayne State University School of Medicine students to better serve our patients needs. These include...
  • Sight Savers - a medical student run ophthalmology group that provides free eye exams.
  • Fresh Prescription - a program whose mission is to provide free fruits, vegetables, and nutritional education as a primary means of medical treatment to individuals with chronic disease in the Detroit area.
  • Lions Hearing Club - a medical student-run audiology group that provides free hearing exams

How we operate

Patients are first seen by our medical student teams, who assess the patient's needs and conduct any indicated exams or testing. The team then consults with the attending physician before providing any indicated medications or patient education.
